fjmt pursues the creation of an integrated architectural/landscape response, rather than one of an isolated structure or individual buildings with a seemingly unrelated landscape design. Our landscape approach ensures that the cultural landscape, in both social and physical terms, is clearly a ‘visible landscape.’ That is, design which does not attempt to replicate natural surroundings but integrates environmental processes and natural patterns within an unambiguous contemporary landscape design.

Each commission is characterised by intensive research to uncover within the precinct context, the factors that make the site unique; and offer opportunities to increase its development potential through design excellence and value adding.
