A challenging site, facing a supermarket loading dock, offered opportunity to create a new frontage and outlook for this important library and community centre. The central idea of both landscape and architecture is a community veranda, seamlessly transitioning between exterior and interior gathering spaces. Safe children’s play space extends to welcoming public space which has catalysed dramatic improvements to the surrounds.

We recognise their continuing connection to Country and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
