Norwest Marketown

Norwest Marketown

Norwest Marketown, at its core, will provide high amenity, open and civic public spaces. Norwest Marketown’s public domains create a true local centre integrated with the surrounding sites and presenting a flexible mix of uses and rich network of places. Norwest Marketown harnesses it’s direct connection to the new Norwest Station and provides convenient and enjoyable spaces to live, work, shop, dine and gather.
The design for Norwest Marketown considers its relationship to the heritage Bella Vista Farm Park and embraces the neighbouring buildings and developments including the Norwest Station, Hillsong Church, The Esplanade development and Norwest Lake.

The concept proposes a legible and permeable pedestrian focused urban structure, presented in a relaxed and campus-like setting, that extends the surrounding streetscapes. The existing retail centre will be transformed into a rich mix of retail, commercial, residential and public accommodation and facilities that meet the needs of the community.

Norwest Marketown will provide accommodation for small businesses servicing the community, together with start- ups whose aspirations are to grow to more significant entities capable of occupying much larger facilities in the nearby business zone. Importantly though, the urban city must also be a pre-eminent residential address for a range of different households including families, young couples, singles and retirees.
