Interior design requires a sensitivity to space-making, materials, systems and finishes that frequently goes beyond conventional projects. It is a broad and specialised discipline which is responsive to the specifics of each interior project and so requires interior architecture and design specialists. Our cohesive approach considers interior projects as seamless sustainable integrations with the wider architecture and exterior landscape aspects of projects, so that cohesive meaningful environments are created.
Interior architecture and design is a separate discipline and expertise within the fjmt studio. The team of specialised interior designers and technical industry specialists is lead by Discipline Head Lina Francis-Jones.
fjmt Interiors has extensive expertise and specialised experience in residential interiors, commercial workplace design, education and cultural interiors.
The interiors team at fjmt are recognised leaders in the industry, being the recipients of the highest RAIA award for interior design on two separate occasions, twice winning the World Architecture Festival (WAF) World Office Building of the Year, the INSIDE World Festival of Interiors (Culture) Award and the WAF World Building of the Year, and the RAIA Milo Dumphy Award for Interior Architecture.
