fjmt urban has been recognised for its commitment to the creation of “place” and authentic built environments through the receipt of numerous design awards including the PIA Australia Award for Urban Design, the UDI Global Award for Excellence, the RAIA Lloyd Rees Award for Urban Design, and the PCA Australian Development of the Year.
The success of fjmt’s masterplanning and urban design work is due to a rigorous and collaborative methodology that achieves excellence in both public space and development outcomes. Community and stakeholder consultation is frequently central to the master planning process and is typically lead by specialist Annie Hensely.
Urban design and master planning is a separate discipline and expertise within the fjmt studio. The team of specialised urban designers and technical development, planning and environmental specialists is lead by Discipline Heads Geoff Croker and David Haseler.
fjmt urban has extensive expertise and experience in the preparation of city and precinct master plans, urban renewal plans planning proposals, development control plans and educational/cultural masterplans for both private and public sector clients.
