Interior Designer

We are seeking an exemplary all round Interior Designer or Architectural Designer to work in our growing interiors team.

Key Responsibilities
Contributing to design concepts
Prepare mood-boards, detailed design and documentation as required
Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
Working across all phases of projects
Exposure to a range of projects
The role provides an opportunity to quickly expand skills and step up in responsibility

Required skills and qualifications  include:
Tertiary Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
Excellent communication skills and professional mannerism
Team player to work in a collaborative environment
Proven knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Local experience of a minimum of 3 years
ArchiCad proficient preferred

Work Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an Interior Designer or Architectural Designer with demonstrated project experience as outlined above

Senior Manager of Interior Architecture

We are seeking an exemplary interior architect to work closely with our Head of Interiors at our nationally recognised Studio based in Sydney.

Duties & Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of junior & intermediate designers on design teams
Manage several projects and design teams simultaneously
Develop and manage project design programmes
Work closely with Client and User Groups
Work with a number of construction professionals
Interpret brief program requirements, develop block plans, adjacency diagrams and detailed designs
Producing design concepts, detailed workings, mood-boards, drawings and specifications as required
Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
Preparing bids, tender applications and presentations
Preparing applications for planning and building control departments
Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job

Required skills and qualifications  include:
Mandatory experience in education, tertiary, workplace
Ability to work across all scales of projects
International design sensibility
Proven management and organisational skills at a senior level
Proven senior design management skills
Proven skills across all phases of project delivery
Excellent Client facing skills
ArchiCad proficient mandatory
Proven knowledge of all applicable codes and standards
Local experience of a minimum of 2 years
Industry recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture

Salary
$80,000 – $100,000 (subject to experience and negotiation; excluding super).
